Body of Missing Minnesota College Student Pulled from River
Minneapolis, MN (KROC-AM News)- A college student who was the subject of a statewide missing person alert has been found dead.

The Minnesota BCA canceled the statewide alert Tuesday morning.
The University of Minnesota student was last seen leaving a residence hall near on the university’s Minneapolis campus earlier this month.
19-year-old Sumith Maddi was reported missing on the morning of October 21. The BCA says the Hennepin County Water Patrol recovered a body from the Mississippi River on October 27.
The Hennepin County Medical Examiner has since identified the body as Maddi.
Officials say the investigation into Maddi’s death is ongoing, however there are no preliminary indicators of foul play.
