A new store is coming to Rochester, Minnesota! This place is known for selling super cute clothing, jewelry, and accessories that are all based on well-known shows and characters. We're talking about Mickey Mouse, Pokemon, Star Wars, Harry Potter, anime, and a ton more.

This store is called BoxLunch and the location that's coming to Rochester will be their fourth Minnesota location. They also have two locations in the Cities and one in Duluth.

What is BoxLunch?

BoxLunch was first launched by Hot Topic in 2015. They have all kinds of pop culture items, like this cute Minnie Mouse-inspired dress:

Or these socks of Bloo from 'Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends'.

They even have a purse that looks like a McDonald's kid's meal:

BoxLunch is More Than Just Cute Pop Culture Products

One of the coolest things about BoxLunch, though, is that they don't just sell super cute and fun stuff, they also give back to the community. Since the very beginning, they've been partnered with Feeding America to help those who are hungry.

Every $10 spent at BoxLunch, whether that's online or in-store, "secures one meal on behalf of local food banks."

BoxLunch Opening in Rochester, Minnesota

So when will BoxLunch come to Rochester? Sadly, I'm not sure yet. They did file a permit just last week, according to the Post Bulletin, "for a “tenant build-out” for a BoxLunch store in the Apache Mall".

Based on that information, we may need to wait a little while before we can shop BoxLunch in person. If I had to make a guess I'd say that they may not even open until early next year depending on how much work they need to do on the space. Hopefully they open sooner though!
