Vehicle Fire Has Closed Portion of I-90 North of La Crescent

La Crescent , MN (KROC-AM News) - A section of I-90 along the Mississippi River north of Lake Crescent is closed to traffic this afternoon due to a vehicle fire.

The Minnesota Department of Transportation says the fire is under a bridge at Dresbach and has forced the closure of the freeway to eastbound traffic. Westbound I-90 in the same area remains open.

Motorists traveling in the area are asked to be attentive to signs identifying the detour that will be in place until approximately 6 PM.
