Record Warmth Ends 637 Day Streak Without 90-Degree Heat
Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News) - Record setting heat covered the region Tuesday afternoon.
The National Weather Service says the unofficial high temperature at the Rochester airport hit 93-degrees, which tied the city’s record high for June 9th that was set in 1973.
It also marked the first time since September 10, 2013 that Rochester has experienced 90-degree heat. The National Weather Service says the 637 day streak without a 90-degree reading was the third longest on record for Rochester.
