SE Minnesota Teen Hospitalized After Being Struck by Trailer
Houston, MN (KROC-AM News) - A southeastern Minnesota teenager was transported to a hospital after he was struck by a pickup pulling a trailer Thursday morning.
The State Patrol says the incident occurred in Houston shortly after 10:30 AM. The report indicates a pickup with the trailer was headed west on Highway 16 when the teenager entered the roadway. The driver reported that he swerved to the left to avoid the pedestrian but the teen was hit by the fender on the trailer.
The State Patrol says 16-year-old Ashton Fuchsel of Houston was transported to Gunderson Hospital in La Crosse with what were described as non-life-threatening injuries. The 26-year-old Wisconsin man driving the pickup was not hurt.
