Young Byron Man ID’D as Victim of Recent Fatal Minneapolis Shooting
Minneapolis, MN (KROC-AM News)- Authorities have identified a young Byron man as the victim of a recent Minneapolis shooting.
The deadly shooting occurred shortly before 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday. It happened in the 3700 block of Newton Ave. North.
A press release issued Friday by the Hennepin County Medical Examiner’s Office identified the shooting victim as 21-year-old Teegan James Charles Wenzel. Minneapolis Police say he was found suffering from multiple gunshot wounds inside of a residence with its front door open.
Wenzel was pronounced dead at the scene despite life-saving measures. The medical examiner ruled his manner of death as a homicide and determined his death was caused by the multiple gunshot wounds he suffered.
The murder investigation is ongoing. So far no arrests have been announced.
