Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News) - A fight involving two men brought Rochester Police to the new city/county warming center Saturday night.

A police spokesperson says the staff of the warming shelter called for assistance around 9:45 PM after two men got into a physical altercation and a female staff member was accidentally struck while trying to intervene. The responding officers learned the disturbance started when a 33-year-old man allegedly punched another man in the back of the head.

He was given a ticket for disorderly conduct and both men were trespassed from the property. The staff member who was hit during the fight did not require medical attention.
