Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News) - A Rochester man with a lengthy history of drunk driving offenses is being given another opportunity to stay out of prison.

44-year-old Matthew Dohrmann entered into a plea agreement in August and admitted to a felony DUI charge stemming from his arrest following a chase and crash in Rochester last March. The arrest report indicated a breath test put his blood-alcohol-concentration was tested at .22 after a State Trooper attempted to pull him over and he sped away before he crashed into a snowbank and then attempted to flee on foot.

Dohrman was recently sentenced to a stayed prison term of 50 months and was sentenced to spend a year in jail on weekends and through the Sentence to Serve program. He has a 20-year history of DUI offenses, including a 2009 felony conviction that also resulted in a stayed prison sentence.
