Bet You Can't Guess Minnesota’s Most Popular Trader Joe’s Product

Walking into Trader Joe’s is like entering a treasure hunt. You go in with a plan - a quick stop for eggs or coffee - and somehow, you’re strolling out with armfuls of unexpected finds!

It's practically a rite of passage to get lost in those aisles, discovering new "must-buy" items each visit. From the ever-popular Cauliflower Gnocchi, to the seasonal candles, a few bottles of Two-Buck Chuck, there are so many Trader Joe’s staples you just can’t skip.

So, when I saw a survey revealing the most popular Trader Joe’s item in Minnesota, I thought I had it pegged. I mean, it had to be something classic like the Mandarin Orange Chicken or maybe a seasonal favorite, right? Wrong.

Turns out, Minnesotans are obsessed with the Ranch Seasoning Blend! And, thinking about it, as the hotdish capital of the world, it kind of tracks - we’re always looking for new ways to add flavor to everything from pasta and salads to roasted veggies (and maybe even a hotdish or two). But still, I didn’t expect this to be our #1!

Nationwide, Trader Joe’s Frozen Hashbrowns and Dark Chocolate Peanut Butter Cups top the charts in five states each, making them the overall most popular Trader Joe’s items in the country. Mmm, those peanut butter cups are heavenly!

The Mandarin Orange Chicken was the fave in several states including California, Colorado, Indiana, and Washington.
