Blooming Prairie Business Destroyed by Fire

Blooming Prairie, MN (KROC-AM News) - An investigator from the State Fire Marshal’s Office is now looking for the cause of a fire that wiped out a business in downtown Blooming Prairie.

According to the Austin Daily Herald, the fire was reported shortly after 6 AM in a building that was home to a bakery and restaurant business known as The Bakery. Despite the efforts of firefighters from Blooming Prairie a half dozen other communities, the newspaper reported the building was destroyed.

No injuries were reported.
