Additional Information

Thank you for your donation to Education Exchange of Minnesota (EEOM).

We are a SE Minnesota non-profit created by Sara Hellerud, a long-time local salon owner, who answered a call to change and empower those within the cosmetology industry. By providing a donation to this 501(c) organization you are contributing to a unique community that addresses equally unique needs. The EEOM is designed to meet these needs and your donation will help by providing continuing education, scholarships, emergency funds, and crisis therapy.

We have created an online curriculum, a vital tool that serves as a source for state required continuing education for those within the industry. Profits from the online classes are used to further fund EEOM goals.

As in most careers, there is a wide variety of education and training available in this field. Within this industry events such as hair shows, coloring classes, and technique training are opportunities for growth and potential income. We will be providing funding for events like these with our scholarship program.

Unlike other professions, most in the cosmetology industry are not offered vacation, sick days or health benefits and this in turn can create unplanned financial need. With the help of our board members, we are looking forward to offering emergency funds to those in need within the state of MN.

Thanks to a partnership opportunity with a Rochester therapist, we have crisis therapy available to help with the challenges that can arise in our industry family.

As we continue to grow, please know that your support is essential to our success. To learn more about EEOM, our services and our special events, please visit www.educationexchangemn.org. Facebook and Instagram: EducationExchangeofMinnesota .
Again, thank you for supporting our mission.
