MINNEAPOLIS (AP) — Minneapolis has recorded its fourth fire death of the year.

The Minneapolis Fire Department says the victim of an early morning apartment fire has died.

Firefighters were called at 4:15 a.m. Thursday and found fire in a first-floor apartment at Groveland Terrace. Crews were able to contain the fire to the unit.

The victim was found in the apartment and died after being taken to a hospital. The name of the victim has not been released yet.

No one else was hurt. Evacuated residents have been allowed to return to their apartments. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
