Lance Corporal Caleb Erickson died February 28th from injuries he received in an attack by a suicide bomber in Afghanistan.

The Free Press of Mankato reports his body arrived at Owatonna's airport Saturday afternoon and from there it was taken by motorcade to Waseca.

The route on old Highway 14 between Owatonna and Waseca was lined with well-wishers holding American flags and signs of appreciation.

A visitation for Erickson was held yesterday and another this morning, one hour before his funeral in Waseca at Grace Lutheran Church. Burial is also today at Woodville Cemetery in Waseca.
