Bittersweet news hit the Facebook world on Monday, December 9th.  A beloved restaurant in Kasson, Minnesota, announced that once the New Year hits, its doors will be closed for good.

If you missed the news, Country Pleasures Cafe at 17 N Mantorville Avenue in Kasson, Minnesota, shared the following words:

While the news might be bittersweet, there is some good news.  If you were hoping to score some pies, Denise will still be taking pie orders for this holiday season.

Allison Goebel - Aww! Congratulations on your retirement! I have some very nice memories of dining in your cute restaurant when I was a little kid with my parents, growing up in Kasson in the early 2000s. That was a fun time..... Country Pleasures Cafe.....Erdmans....the Variety Store....Leutholds.......Miller's Antiques! Kasson is the best town a kid could grow up in Thank you for all the memories!

Tracy Morrow - Congratulations you guys have done so many wonderful things over the years.
Will miss that chix cashew salad along with all the great food and desserts.
