Multiple Roads in Minnesota Closed on Tuesday, Including Parts of I-90, Due to Unsafe Road Conditions

Blizzard conditions are predicted for most of Southern Minnesota by the National Weather Service and these conditions are expected to last until 3pm on Wednesday.  The rain falling on Tuesday afternoon and evening will transition to snow at some point overnight between Tuesday and Wednesday.  And then, the snow and wind are going to have a little fun and make it extremely hard for us to see while on the road.

Unfortunately, some parts of Minnesota are already getting hit hard by the storm and there are now reports of roads being closed, including some parts of I-90.

Several accidents and car crashes were also reported on Tuesday night including several semis that jackknifed.

Multiple roads in Southwestern Minnesota were also labeled with "Travel Not Advised" (Dark purple).  The roads with the lighter purple lines indicate that roads are completely covered.
