Powerball Jackpot Continues To Grow

No one matched all of the numbers during Wednesday night's drawing, which means the Powerball jackpot will grow to an estimated $1.5 billion for the upcoming drawing on Saturday, December 20, 2025. This massive prize would rank as the fifth-largest jackpot in Powerball history and the seventh-largest ever recorded in the United States.

While no one hit the jackpot on Wednesday, December 17, there were several big winners. The winning numbers were 25, 33, 53, 62, and 66 with Powerball 17.

Six tickets sold in Connecticut, New York, Pennsylvania, and Tennessee matched all five white balls to win $1 million each, while two lucky players in Arizona and Massachusetts saw their prizes double to $2 million thanks to the 4x Power Play multiplier.

Minnesota Lottery Officials say a ticket sold in Rochester, Minnesota, matched four white balls plus the Powerball. This person added Power Play to their ticket, which increased their winnings to $200,000.
