Kyle Rudolph Wins the Walter Payton Man of the Year Challenge

Minnesota Vikings tight end Kyle Rudolph won the NFL's Walter Payton Man of the Year Challenge.

The social media challenge encouraged fans to post #WPMOYChallenge and their favorite nominee's last name, the player with the most hashtags won $25,000 for their charity.

Rudolph will donate the money to the University of Minnesota Masonic Children’s Hospital where he built 'Kyle Rudolph’s End Zone', a  special space within the hospital that allows patients and parents to relax and enjoy a variety of activities.

The NFL will name the Walter Payton Man of the Year during the 'NFL Honors' broadcast the night before the Super Bowl.

According to the NFL, "$500,000 will be donated in the name of the 2018 winner. $250,000 will be donated in his name to expand Character Playbook, the NFL and United Way's digital character education program. An additional donation of $250,000 will be donated to the charity of his choice."
