It opened up almost a month ago but it opened so quietly that I had no idea until now that it existed! But I'm super excited to go give it a try sometime.

Our Paladar Opens a Speakeasy-Style Bar in the Basement

Our Paladar, which is in the old train depot where Porch used to be, has opened up their own speakeasy-style bar in the basement!

It's called Palmetto Room and they're calling it a rum bar.

At Palmetto Room, you can, obviously, try some tasty cocktails, but they also have small bites to munch on.

Taking a peek at the menu, some of it looks the same as what's available at Our Paladar, but there are also some special offerings just for Palmetto Room.

One that stood out to me is the Sanquiri. It's a snack-sized daiquiri that they say is perfect to have while you decide on food or another drink.

Palmetto Room is open Tuesday - Thursday from 4:00 - 10:00 PM and Friday and Saturday from 4:00 - 11:00 PM. They'll also have weekly live music there.
