Rochester School Board Authorizes November Referendum
Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) - The Rochester School Board has approved a recommendation to put a two-part bond issue question before voters in a special election November 5th.
The first question would request voter approval for authorization to finance $171.4 million to cover the cost of building a new elementary school, a new middle school, and other projects.
The second question would request an additional $9.5 million for the construction of a swimming pool at Century High School and renovating the existing pools at John Marshall and Mayo High Schools.
