Her name is Eman and she owns and runs SETO Bakery in Rochester out of her home. I learned that 'seto' is 'grandma' in Arabic. The bakery is named SETO as "a tribute to [Eman's] mother who passed on her skills of Mediterranean culinary cuisine and the love of baking. ... The most cherished and precious figure in any family is grandma."

Baked goods from SETO honor Eman's heritage and uses her ancestors’ recipes "with a touch of innovation." She makes the baked goods out of her home and has them delivered to your door. Some of the items on the menu include a baklava tray, a basbousa tray, and her famous apple pie.

SETO x Fiddlehead

And now, as of Thursday, February 16th, you can stop by Fiddlehead Coffee Company's Miracle Mile location and try SETO for yourself! On Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays you can stop by Fiddlehead to give some of SETO's baked goods a try. It sounds like Eman will be there herself so you can say hello!

Don't mind me drooling over these pictures... it all looks so dang good!

If you'd like, you are still able to order through SETO's website and have it delivered to you. I know it's only February but I'm debating ordering one of her apple pies for Thanksgiving this year.
