High Speed Chase Ends Near Dover
Rochester, Dover, MN (KROC AM News) - A Wisconsin man who led officers on a high speed chase on I-90 Tuesday was captured in rural northeast Olmsted County. The man was driving a stolen vehicle and was being chased by a state trooper around 8:30 PM. The man exited the interstate at Olmsted County Rd 10 and drove north a few miles before he abandoned the vehicle at a farm north of Dover and fled on foot. A State Patrol helicopter and Rochester police dogs joined Olmsted County deputies trying to find the man. After a short search, he was located and arrested. ROCHESTER, Minn. – Westbound ramps on Interstate 90 at St. Charles and Eyota will be closing for 30 days for reconstruction and motorists will be detoured beginning on Wednesday, Oct. 7, according to the Minnesota Department of Transportation.
