Olmsted County parks

It may be early January but Olmsted County Parks has just started accepting campground reservations for the 2021 season.

Our warm, sunny December (so far, anyway) has been great to get outside, and now Olmsted County has made it even easier to enjoy any county park.

A popular public spot on Lake Zumbro has a new name.

One last time with Olmsted County Parks Director Tom Ryan today on Rochester’s Good Morning.  He has retired from his post which means he’ll no longer be a regular guest on every other Thursday like he has been for the past 16 years on the program.

Jazz, Twins baseball, the outdoors and more on Thursday's program.  We'll get going at 5:30!

Another full day on RGM with Kim David and Rich Peterson opening things up at 5:30. The Sports Expert will chime in at 6:45 and then we'll hear from Senator Al Franken at 7:15.

Another episode of "The Tumbling Twins" as we bring in the radio voice of the Minnesota Twins, Cory Provus at 8:15.

Looking forward to another great day starting at 5:30 on KROC AM!  Kim David and I will lay it all on the line from the beginning...then, the sports expert will spin positive vibes about the Twins at 6:45.

Everybody's excited about Thursday as Kim David and Rich Peterson bust it open at 5:30 with in-depth thoughts for the day, or something.

We'll wring out the rain and bring in the best on Thursday's radio program. The Sports Expert, George Rownd at 6:45, Bill Schnell say's he'll be in at 7:20 for a Mantorville Theatre plug.

The Twins are half way through spring training and we'll get the thoughts of Cory Provus, the radio voice of the Twins on some of the highlights and lowlights of the session at 8:15.

The sports expert MIGHT be over the Gopher sweep by South Dakota schools.  (He was making sure we are not scheduling the South Dakota School of Mines) He'll check in at 6:45. Senator Al Franken on the No Child Left Behind overhaul at 7:15...

We haven't had the chance to talk with the Chancellor of the University of Minnesota-Rochester since last spring.  That streak will end on Thursday as Dr. Steven Lemkuhle stops by at 8:15.

Let's see, the subject of fair trade will come up during the program on Thursday.  No, not with the sports expert George Rownd, though he will offer some thoughts on the Twins and more at 6:45.
