A Rochester man, who went to prison for a conviction in a 2002 murder case, was sentenced today for a first-degree drug conviction.

The St. Paul man was accused of swerving toward oncoming vehicles during the wrong-way high-speed pursuit in Rochester last November.

He told investigators he spent the money at the Treasure Island Casino and in Las Vegas.

The State Patrol says the truck ended up on County Road 1 below the freeway overpass.
