Lake City, MN (KROC AM News) - A team from the US Army Corps of Engineers took another round of measurements of the ice on Lake Pepin Wednesday and found it remains 19-inches thick in some areas despite the recent warm-up.
Crews from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers braved dangerously cold temperatures and wind chills as they ventured out onto the ice covering Lake Pepin Wednesday morning for an annual pre-spring ritual.
