Police have identified the man who led authorities on a chase and then held officers at bay with a 7-year-old child in his vehicle.

He is accused of threatening another person with a firearm in an incident that led to a six-hour standoff in a suburb of Phoenix Arizona.

Officials say the armed individual barricaded himself inside a home after an FBI SWAT team attempted to serve an arrest warrant this morning.

The stand-off that prompted a "shelter in place" warning today ended just after 5 PM.
