A 29-year-old woman and the three-year-old child were airlifted to a hospital in the Twin Cities.

Officials reported that the bitter cold caused some of the fire fighting equipment to freeze up.

The Houston County Sheriff's Office says possible arson charges are pending.

Officials say he was the lone occupant of the home.
