Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News)- Emergency responders were called to the scene of a crash along Hwy. 52 in Rochester Thursday morning.

Preliminary reports indicate the crash happened shortly after 10 a.m. The initial call from dispatch indicated it was an accident with injuries

The crash occurred near the foot of the on ramp to Hwy. 52 South from 55th St. Northwest. Traffic camera footage from the area shows a white car in the ditch on the west side of the freeway.

The Minnesota State Patrol, Olmsted County Sheriff’s Office and Rochester Police Department have responded to the scene. The Rochester Fire Department and Mayo Clinic Ambulance were also dispatched to the crash,

A tow service has since arrived to remove the vehicle from the ditch. The right lane on Hwy. 52 remains closed in the area of the crash scene. Southbound traffic was temporarily slowed but appears to be flowing again.
