Cresco, IA (KROC-AM News) - A southeastern Minnesota man was killed last night in a crash in northeastern Iowa that also took the life of an Iowa man.

The Winneshiek County Sheriff's Office says 22-year-old Finn Ronken of Canton was walking on a rural highway just south of the Minnesota-Iowa border when he was struck by a motorcycle around 7:20 PM. The Sheriff's Office indicated the motorcycle was traveling at a high rate of speed.

The driver of the motorcycle was identified as 21-year-old Wyant Tibbals of Cresco, Iowa. Both men were fatally injured.

The fatal crash occurred on Winneshiek County Road A14 about halfway between Canton and Cresco.
