Two Killed in Deadly Minnesota Shooting
St. Paul, MN (KROC-AM News)- Police in St. Paul are investigating an apparent double murder.
A St. Paul Police Department news release says officers responded to an apartment complex shortly before 5:45 a.m. Tuesday on the report of a person being shot. Responding officers found a woman inside the complex suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
While securing the scene, officers found a second apparent gunshot victim. Police say the man also died at the scene. Homicide investigators then arrived to interview witnesses.
The news release says a motive for the apparent fatal shooting and a connection between the victims has not yet been determined. So far no arrests have been made.
The Ramsey County Medical Examiner's Office will conduct autopsies to identify the victims and determine their official cause of death. Tuesday’s deadly shooting marks the 11th and 12th homicides in St. Paul this year.
