12 Years in Prison For Rochester Man Guilty of Child Sex Assault
Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News) - A Rochester man has been sentenced to 12 years in prison for repeatedly sexually assaulting a young girl.
41-year-old David Kochen was charged in 2022 with four counts of first-degree criminal sexual conduct. He was accused of sexually assaulting a child under the age of 10 multiple times over a span of three years.

According to the criminal complaint in the case, investigators learned of the sexual assaults during an interview with the victim in July 2022. The girl stated that the first assault that she recalled occurred in the summer of 2015.
The court document indicates the victim estimated that she was sexually assaulted more than 40 times. The crimes occurred at two residences in Stewartville, another residence in Plainview, and during a vacation.
Kochen entered a guilty plea to a single count of first-degree criminal sexual conduct in late September. The plea agreement resulted in the dismissal of three other charges.
