Twin Cities Motorcyclist Killed During Police Pursuit
Forest Lake, MN (KROC AM News) - A high-speed police chase in the Twin Cities Tuesday ended when the pursued motorcyclist crashed into a truck.
A Minnesota state trooper tried to pull over the driver for speeding on I-35 around 2 p.m. when he took off.
The chase hit speeds of 130-140 mph and the trooper lost sight of the driver for a few minutes. The State Patrol says the motorcyclist was “weaving in and out of traffic” before crashing into the rear of a semi-truck near Forest Lake. The motorcyclist died at the scene. He has been identified as 36-year-old Samnang Doeun Lenh of Oakdale.
