2 Pick-Up Collision on Olmsted County Highway Hospitalizes Driver
The State Patrol responded to the crash shortly before 1 p.m. Wednesday. It happened east of the Hwy. 14/Hwy. 42 roundabout in Eyota.
The state crash report indicates a westbound pick-up, driven by 85-year-old Arlyn Vernon Johnson, was traveling west on the two-lane highway when it collided with a different pick-up.
The crash resulted in Johnson being taken to St. Mary’s Hospital in Rochester for treatment of what are being described as non-life-threatening injuries. Johnson was wearing a seatbelt, according to the report.
The direction of the second pick-up’s travel, as well as its make and model, are unknown. The report also does not indicate whether or not the second pick-up involved in the collision was occupied.
