Southeast Minnesota Man Hospitalized After 2 Semis Collide
St. James, MN (KROC-AM News)- A crash involving two semi trucks has sent a southeast Minnesota truck driver to the hospital.
Both of the semis collided on Hwy. 60. The State Patrol responded to the crash shortly before 8:45 p.m. Thursday.
The state crash report indicates a westbound semi, driven by 39-year-old Corey Lee Stewart of Brownsdale, collided with a semi that was crossing the four-lane highway east of St. James in Watonwan County.
Stewart was taken to a nearby hospital with what are being described as non-life-threatening injuries. The other truck driver, identified as 50-year-old Iryna Kozachuk of Ohio, was not hurt.
Both truckers were buckled up and alcohol was not involved in the crash, the report says.
