Hibbing, MN (KROC-AM News) - A head-on crash involving a car and a semi-truck early Saturday morning resulted in the death of a young man from northern Minnesota.

The State Patrol says the victim was driving north on Highway 169 in Itasca County when his car entered the northbound lane and collided with the truck. The deadly crash was reported shortly after 4:30 AM just east of Calumet, about 15 miles southwest of Hibbing.

The man killed in the collision was identified as 20-year-old Levi Greenwood of Hibbing. The State Patrol says the truck driver, 51-year-old Christopher Jensen of Grand Rapids, was taken to a hospital in Grand Rapids to be treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
