The 2017 Olmsted County Relay for Life is in the record books and Townsquare Media Rochester is proud to have been a part of it! Check out all the pictures!

First the huge news...before the relay even started, they'd raised $48,019.75! So awesome!

It was a quiet morning...no rain, and the organizers, setting up at RCTC, were hoping it'd stay that way. Nervous eyes kept an eye on the forecast, and then the rain came! And the hail. And the move! The Relay for Life was moved inside the fieldhouse.

That didn't damper the energy and fun tho. Silent auction items, great food, games for the kids, and walkers setting up campsites along the track, it was all there, the Relay for Life was on and we were having fun!

James Rabe joined Caitlin Alexander to host the Relay Rumble, Family Feud with a Relay Twist. The biggest twist being James Rabe wasn't allowed to kiss the contestants like Richard Dawson, the original Family Feud host, did.

Later, Tracy McCray came in to tell her story as a cancer survivor, host another round of Relay Rumble and to close up the whole event.

Thank you to everyone who came out, gave their time, raised money, just cheered everyone on, and of course, the hardworking volunteers that put it on. What a great night to remind everyone of the love we have in this community.
