
21-Year-Old Dies in Wrong-Way Crash on I-35 Near U of M
Minneapolis, MN (KROC-AM News) - The State Patrol says a 21-year-old man was killed this morning in a wrong way crash on a Twin Cities freeway.
The preliminary report on the deadly incident indicates the victim, who was from Crystal, was driving a car south in the left lane of the northbound lanes of I-35 in Minneapolis. At the same time, another motorist was headed south and the vehicles collided head-on.

The fatal crash was reported around 5:50 AM at the Johnson Street interchange near the University of Minnesota campus. The victim has been identified as Aman Mukhtar Mohamed.
The State Patrol identified the other driver as 25-year-old Cassidy Lee Groe of Lino Lakes. he was transported to the Hennepin County Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.
