Inver Grove Heights, MN (MinnesotaNow)- Authorities in the Twin Cities are investigating the deaths of three people.

A news release issued by the Inver Grove Heights Police Department indicates officers discovered the bodies on Sunday.

Three People Found Dead During Welfare Check at Home in Inver Grove Heights
Police responded to a home in the 3200 block of 78th St. East in Inver Grove Heights to conduct a welfare check.
Officers found the three deceased people inside of the home, the news release says.
The names of the deceased have not been released. A medical examiner has been tasked with identifying the individuals and determining how they died, the news release says.
BCA Responds to Scene
Police did not say how the individuals died, however members of the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension responded to the scene and are assisting with the investigation, according to the news release.
Authorities say there is no known danger to the public. The news release says the investigation remains active and ongoing.
