
3 Minnesota Residents Killed, Multiple Critically Injured Following Head-on Crash
Council Grove, KS (KROC-AM News)- Three Minnesotans lost their lives in a head-on crash in Kansas over the Memorial Day Weekend.

Authorities were dispatched to the deadly crash in Morris County, which is about 140 miles west of Kansas City.
The Kansas Highway Patrol responded to the fatality shortly before 4:00 Saturday afternoon. Two vehicles were involved in the fatal collision.
3 Minnesotans Killed, 4 Hospitalized After Head-on Crash in Kansas
An SUV carrying the Minnesotans was traveling south on a rural road and collided head-on with a northbound pick-up that was traveling in the middle of the road, the crash report says.
33-year-old Troy A. Sabean of Roseville was driving the SUV. Sabean and two of his passengers, identified as 33-year-old Emma Porter of Roseville and 69-year-old Ann Porter of Fergus Falls, were pronounced dead at the scene.

Two other passengers in the Minnesota vehicle, who are from Edina, were hospitalized with what are being described as suspected serious injuries.
They have been identified as 64-year-old Kathleen M. Lebarron and 68-year-old Paul M. Porter. Authorities say all of the Minnesotans were buckled up.
A man and woman from Kansas were inside of the pick-up. The driver, identified as 53-year-old Andrew M. Steele, and his passenger, 51-year-old Lisa M. Steele, were also taken to a hospital with suspected serious injuries.
