32 Rochester Students Win Awards at State-Wide STEM Competition
We have to give a big shoutout to the over 60 Rochester, Minnesota students who did so well in the Rochester Regional STEM Fair that they advanced to the Minnesota State Science and Engineering Fair! Very impressive. Out of those 60+ students, 32 Rochester students won awards at the state-wide competition.
I believe it was in middle school that I did the science fair. If I'm remembering correctly, we were required to do it. I always wanted to do really well, I wanted to come up with something cool and useful. Surprise, surprise, I never did well. But these students are way smarter in the sciences than I was at that age!
These 32 impressive Rochester students represent 5 middle and high schools: Century High School, Dakota Middle School, John Adams Middle School, John Marshall High School, and Mayo High School.
Here are the 32 students that won an award at the fair! They could have won a bronze, silver, or gold award and/or a monetary prize from a company that's part of the event.
