Zumbrota, MN (KROC-AN News) - Four people were transported to St. Marys Hospital following a crash Saturday afternoon involving a UTV and an SUV on Highway 52 near Zumbrota.

The State Patrol says the collision between the off-road all-terrain vehicle and the passenger vehicle occurred just after 3 p.m. at the intersection with Sherwood Trail, about two miles north of Zumbrota. The crash report says the SUV was traveling north on Highway 52 while the UTV was headed east on Sherwood Trail.

The driver of the UTV was identified as 54-year-old Kristine Gobin of Cannon Falls. Her passenger was identified as 40-year-old Michelle Plonsky, also of Cannon Falls.

According to the State Patrol, the SUV was driven by 76-year-old George Cave of Apple Valley. His passenger was 75-year-old Marcia Cave, also of Apple Valley.

The crash report indicates that all four occupants of the two vehicles were transported by ambulance to Rochester with what were described as non-life-threatening injuries.
