Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News) - The State Patrol has not released information concerning injuries, but a room preliminary report on a one-vehicle crash near Rochester this morning indicates five children were in the vehicle.

They were all passengers in a full-size van driven by a 32-year-old Plainview woman. The State Patrol says she was driving west on Highway 247 about 2 miles east of Highway 63 north of Rochester when the van left the roadway and rolled in the ditch. The roadway was covered by snow and ice when the crash occurred around 8:30 AM

The names of the driver and her passenger have not been released. The State Patrol says her five passengers ranged in age from 4 to 11 years old.

Additional information concerning the crash is expected to be released overnight.
