It's the end of summer but we're right in the middle of sunflower season in Minnesota! Sunflowers are typically in season in August through mid-September in Minnesota, according to The Boutique Adventurer, so now is the perfect time to check out the sunflower fields we have around Minnesota.

Sadly because of the drought there are many sunflower fields that couldn't open this year. I did find 6 that are open for 2021, however, with the drought, the sunflowers may have a shorter season. That's just a guess based on seeing that fall colors are coming early due to the drought, so I'm guessing that means the sunflower season will be a little shorter.

I found 6 sunflower fields around Minnesota to check out in the next few weeks! They're all around Minnesota so pick one based on how far you want to drive. And, because sunflower season might be a little shorter this year, check with whatever field you're going to before leaving to make sure there will be sunflowers there to admire (and take pictures with!).
