This is pretty huge and just in time for Thanksgiving, no less. Jennie-O has announced a recall of ground turkey because of possible salmonella reading contamination. The USDA is saying the health risk is high!

Jennie-O, in Barron, Wisconsin, is recalling about 91,388 pounds of raw ground turkey products. Which products do you need to worry about? Ones produced on September 11, 2018. Scroll down to see pictures of the packages.

With the "use by" dates, it is 99.9% likely the turkey is in your freezer. If you decide not to throw it out, the recommendation is to cook the turkey to an inner temp of at least 165 degrees. Don't eat raw turkey, don't eat partially cooked turkey.
