A Busy Day at Graham Arena
Don’t let the threat of a late winter storm scare you away!
The 54th edition of the Townsquare Media Home, Vacation and RV is underway at Graham Park (Olmsted County Fairgrounds). Thousands attend the show every year, checking out the dozens of vendors that are offering a variety of goods and services - face to face.
It’s a good way to really converse with a vendor and learn more about what they are offering. It’s also a good way to meet and chat with the KROC AM staff. Andy Brownell, Kim David ,Tracy McCray,Tom Ostrom and Rich Peterson will be there along with other members of the Rochester Townsquare Media staff.
For longtime Rochester “homies” this show was always a sign of spring. For years it was simply known as the KROC Home and Vacation Show. The name has changed over the years and RV’s joined the show but one thing remains the same - it’s still free and offers a great chance to check out the latest offerings from all the various vendors.
If my memory is working correctly, the first years of the “Home Show” were held at the Mayo Civic Center auditorium and then moved to Graham Arena after it opened in 1968.
Hope to see you there!
