A Woman Has Died After Being Stabbed in Grand Rapids MN

Police are investigating a fatal stabbing that occurred outside of an Elementary School in Grand Rapids, Minnesota.

According to WDIO, the incident took place outside of Murphy Elementary School on Tuesday night. When police arrived to the call they found a 15 year old male holding a knife. Paramedics attempted life saving procedures on the victim and transported her to a local hospital where she died later.

The Grand Rapids Police Chief said in a statement that they believe the victim and the suspect knew each other and this was an arranged meeting. Drugs were also found at the scene.

The victim's name is being withheld at this time. The 15 year old suspect is being held in custody.
