It's not even Halloween here in Southeastern Minnesota but we are already thinking Christmas. It was announced via press release that the Canadian Pacific Holiday Train will be making its way through our portion of the state at various points in December. Performance stops will include Owatonna, Waseca, Rochester, and La Crescent.

According to the press release, the Canadian Pacific Holiday train is "entering its 21st year, and it uses music and community spirit to raise money and generate healthy food donations for food banks in communities along CP's network."

Performing in Southeastern Minnesota on the Canadian Pacific Holiday Train this year will be  Meghan PatrickTanika Charles and Kelly Prescott. Stops in our area include:

December 5th Performance Stops:

Rochester: Train arrives at 1:00 P.M. at end of 16th Avenue N.W. next to the Barlow Hy-vee Grocery Store. Performance 1:15-1:45 P.M.

Owatonna: Train arrives at 3:40 P.M. at 1145 Park Drive at the rail crossing (Near Owatonna Bus Company). Performance 3:45 - 4:25 P.M.

Waseca: Train arrives at 5:15 P.M. at 308 S. State Street and Highway 13. Performance 5:30 - 6:00 P.M. 

Janesville: Train arrives at 7:00 P.M. at 236 Front Street at Veteran's Memorial Park, between Main Street and Craig Street. Performance 7:15 - 7:45 P.M.

December 6th

Austin: Train arrives at 5:00 P.M. at 550 11th Street NE. Performance 5:15 - 5:45 P.M.

La Crescent: Train arrives at 8:15 P.M. at 215 South Chestnut Street, The Commodore Food and Spirit parking lot. Performance 8:30 - 9:00 P.M.
