He was just a 12-year-old kid in Southeast Minnesota who loved making people smile.  Hunter Biermeier was a kid at my church and I will never forget when I heard the news that he had passed away from an ATV accident.  But Hunter's dream of bringing smiles to others has not disappeared.  In fact, because of Hunter, more kids are being comforted today thanks to the Hugs From Hunter Foundation and a huge event is happening in Rochester on October 29th that will help keep the smiles coming.

Hugs From Hunter Waffle Event in Rochester, Minnesota Helps Bring More Smiles to Kids

Skip the cereal on Saturday, October 29th, and go enjoy some amazing waffles with all the fixings and know that each bite is helping kids in our area find comfort.  The Hugs From Hunter Foundation is once again bringing the annual waffle breakfast to Rochester, Minnesota and everyone is invited to eat!

Twelve year old Hunter Biermeier had a fun-loving, contagious personality and smile. He was best known for his love of sports and also excelled academically. Hunter had a strong faith in God and Jesus as his savior and declared this through believer's baptism in October 2011.

One of Hunter's goals was to visit children in the hospital and read to them. He loved to make people smile. Hunter's life was cut short by an accident in November, 2011.

To fulfill Hunter's desire to make children smile; the Hugs from Hunter Foundation was created. Our mission is to provide comfort to children in crisis. We provide children a cuddly teddy bear and a security blanket to comfort them during difficult times. - hugsfromhunter.org
