Amazon Quietly Changes App Logo After ‘Hitler’ Comparisons
The next time you are on your smartphone (maybe even now) check out the Amazon logo for Amazon shopping. Notice anything different? More than likely you won't, but Amazon Shopping has quietly changed its logo after comparisons of the blue 'tape' on the logo resembled Adolf Hitler's signature mustache.
So this change must have just happened right? Apple's updated to the new-new logo on Feb 22, Android users saw the new-new logo on Monday. The new-box logo, with the now removed piece of blue tape, changed back in January according to the Today Show website. Before people would look for the shopping cart Amazon logo to utilize the app on their smartphone.
Amazon will have three fulfillment centers in Minnesota, with locations in Shakopee, Minneapolis, and another set to open up in Lakeville in the next year.
