Another Minnesota Man Charged With Third Precinct Fire
Minneapolis, MN (KROC-AM News) - Federal prosecutors have charged another Minnesotan in connection with the arson fires that destroyed the Minneapolis Police Department Third Precinct Headquarters.
26-year-old Bryce Williams of Staples is facing a charge of conspiracy to commit arson. A statement from the US Attorney for Minnesota indicates he was arrested on Tuesday and was arraigned at the Federal Courthouse in Minneapolis on Wednesday.
As was the case involving a Brainerd man charged with the same crime, the charges against Williams are based on security camera and social media videos. Prosecutors say a person, identified as Williams, was recorded on surveillance video outside the Third Precinct building holding a Molotov cocktail while other people are attempting to light the wick. A video posted by Williams the next day on social media shows him wearing what appears to the same clothing standing in front of the burning building.
