Another Rochester, MN Business Marked as Permanently Closed

On average, people visit an urgent care facility 1.4 times each year.  Thanks to a concussion and an incident where my teen got hit in the ribs with a large tree stump (long story, don't ask), our family visited an urgent care twice in 2024.

Next time you need to rush to urgent care or make an appointment to be seen, your options for medical care in Rochester, Minnesota just went down by one.

Compcare Urgent Care Now Permanently Closed in Rochester, Minnesota

Just a few years ago, I shared the news that Compcare Urgent Care was opening a location in Rochester, Minnesota.  At that time, they had three other locations in Minnesota including in Owatonna, Faribault, and Rogers.

This new business was located at 5507 Chateau Rd NW and took over the old MedExpress spot.  According to their website, it provided occupational medicine, urgent care, as well as telemedicine.

Unfortunately, it appears that the doors are closed for good at this Compcare Urgent Care location.  According to its website, it states that the Rochester location is temporarily closed.  Google states that the location is permanently closed.

When did MedExpress close in Rochester, Minnesota?

You may have blocked this out of your memory, because overall, this was just a tough year for all of us.  2020 was not only the year of the global pandemic when we experienced a shortage in practically everything at the stores, but it is also the year when MedExpress closed in Rochester.
